What size TechFlex-style cable wrap is best?

Has anyone tried the 1/8 and 1/4 Tech Flex-style cable wraps to know which is generally more useful for eBike wire wrapping?

I am just not sure what nominal size means in the real world.

I just ordered some Flexo F6 in a multipack of different sizes to give it a try. I think the Flexo wrap might also be interesting but it's just to expensive for me. The nice thing about F6 is that is is common enough that plenty of people provide short lengths on eBay such as this:

I usually buy my Techflex from this vendor if I am looking for <50'. Give him a call at the number listed on the auction if you have any questions about product selection. He is a nice guy and knowledgeable.
