I was wondering what would be the ultimate tool chest to have with you in case your bike breaks down, and you are far from home.
Off the top of my head, bike pump, tire tube, or repair kit, assorted wrenches, allen keys, cell phone a couple of twinkies (they have an obscene shelf life ). Any other ideas??

I always carry the following
-patch kits
-cell phone
-flashlight
-spare tube
-pump
-wrenches for hub motor and torque arm nuts
-lots of zap straps ( saved my ass twice when my pedal fell off and when a bolt on my rear rack broke)
- spare hardware for rear rack
-tire levers
-tire pressure gauge
-spare batteries for rear light
-pliers

Xenon strobe
DMM
Pepper Spray

For ultimate-ultimate:
Dom Pérignon
Inflatable pool
Daniela Cicarelli

Daniela Cicarelli?

Yes TD, and they worked great. I had picked up a pack of Slime Skabs at Walmart, and half way through a 40 mile ride I had a flat on my trike. My brother, a dedicated long distance rider, said "at least you got the right kind of patches". (Brother IS NOT an E-Bike enthusiast, LOL). Thanks for reminding me, need to get some more, nearest Walmart is 50 miles away.

I pretty much carry the basics mentioned above, but unlike most of you, there is lots of extra space in my Power Trailer.

Skabs, nice quick repair. I am surprised Prof. Xyster has not added his 2 wrenches . I recently had 2 spokes break on a ride, and had a very badly warped back rim from just riding it home. (straightened out nicely ) So maybe a couple of spokes in there 2? So far in 10 weeks of riding, one flat, two broken spokes, bent seat post, one broken derailer, one almost failed seat post rack, one broken pedal.. and looks like I am going to replace my brake pads very soon, (1200 kms) .

My two wrenches? Duct tape & electrical tape :D

I've broken two spokes and one back rack so far. I rode around for a week no problem minus one spoke while waiting for the replacement. I don't carry a patch kit because the kevlar liners and super-thick downhill tubes seem impervious to typical flats. 3000 miles on my three EV's, no flats -- though I've removed a lot of glass and metal debris from the tires.
