Hello
I have to replace a few Samsung 35E 18650 cells in a pack.
The substitutes will only be paralleled with themselves - not mixed in a parallel string with the 35Es.
I looked on ebay to buy a few replacements and need some help to sort things out.

I know I need a 3.6V cell and can find several choices in the same 3000 to 3500mAhr nominal rating.
Input from the many experts on this forum would be appreciated.

Some choices (I think) are LG MJ1, Samsung HG2, and Panasonic Sanyo GA............

Thanks (hope to be riding again soon)

If you can find cells of higher capacity than the ones you have, use those. It's generally OK to have instances of stronger than normal cells; it's a problem to have a few weak cells in the mix.

Thanks - I'll see if I can find those of 3500mahr or greater - without going to the 3.7V cells

Go with the same 35E the rest of the pack uses.

It's true you can perhaps swap to something else and have good luck, but whenever possible using all the same cells in a string is the way to go.
