I have a Stealth Fighter. Since new, if I run with the wheel off the ground, testing, it exhibits what I consider to be excessive shaking at the higher RPMs. Recently, I replaced the stock rim and tire with a good quality motorcycle rim and tire. I trued the rim to within .008 tolerance for both run-out and circumference. On reassembly, the exact same condition, excessive shaking at higher speeds exists. I really don't notice this when riding, but it is strange that the shaking is so severe. Anyone else seen this, corrected this? Is it balance or the hub motor quality? I have a motorcycle and on the center stand, wheel off the ground, I can go as fast as I like without this shaking. Help please.

Off hand, I would say if the problem doesn't manifest itself while riding, it is a non issue.
But, to look into it, get some sm. sticky backed wheel weights and play with those.
After confirming the wheel is exactly true, of course.

If you've ever bought tires for your car, and watched the installers, you'll notice they always balance the wheels before they mount them. If you want a balanced bike wheel, you'll have to do the same as it's very unlikely it will be balanced by luck. Spoke weights and/or lead tape will do the job, but it shouldn't be a big problem unless you have a very high speed wheel and it's way out of balance.

Could you upload a youtube video? that would light our minds pretty weel

You can wrap thick solder around a spoke or spokes to balance it. Since the wheel doesn't spin freely to show the heavy spot, it takes some trial and error to find where weight is needed (the added weight reduces the vibration instead of increasing it). Once you find the spot, you can switch over to sticky weights on the rim if you want, but I've never had the solder way come loose, even at 100mph+.

The vibration of an out of balance condition uses energy, which is obvious spinning it up with the wheel off the ground. That doesn't completely change just because you don't feel it while riding, because the bike (and you) just damps vibration. Get it in perfect balance all the way up to no load speed to eliminate the energy loss, which is just a waste of battery capacity.

I noticed the same thing and used, as others have suggested, sticky weights from a hobby shop. Just pick a spot, add weight, and move until the vibrations disappear!

If you take some chalk, and carefully hold it just above the tire as it's spinning and hopping, you might be able to mark the heavy part of the wheel. Adding some weight to the opposite side should help to reduce or eliminate the imbalance.
