Where to get bike parts?

I am looking for somewhere to buy parts for ebikes such as forks, wheels, tires a and other regular bike parts. I live near Toronto, Canada. I have a local bike shop but it is more a sporting goods store and they have little selection. I am sure there would be good bike shops in Toronto but I haven't checked them out yet. I is there a good go too online bike shop that people order from with good prices?

Also what brands are good? As I look on kijiji at all the bikes I see all these different makes and I have no idea what is a good brand. Could some please suggest good bike brands?

I just got done clicking the submit button on an order at JensonUSA. It was my first purchase as I use Price Point, Niagara cycles, cycleclubsports, and Tree Fort Bikes.

My method with Jenson is to find what you want on their site, then do a Google Search -> Shopping -> Lowest Price for each item and use the price match feature. You'll get the best prices around, free shipping (if you go over $50), and all in one place.

I just bought:

• 2 Alex DX32 24" rims (normally $45 each)
• A Shimano M525A front disc 36H Hub
• and some 4 Avid locking noodles

All shipped to my door for about $125. All I need is some custom cut Sapim double butted spokes from Danscomp (About $20 per wheel) and I will have a fully built wheelset for $150 plus the cost of the motor.

EDIT: Here's the link for the double butted spokes, $.50 each. They also have cheaper straight gauge spokes. You need to call them to place the order so they can verify stock and confirm the cut length. try niagra cycles, they are near you, their website is not bad either. see something you like, order and then pick it up, no shipping charges.

Lots of good web retailers. Nashbar might have what you need, but the best one I've found is chain reaction cycles. In England, but the shipping has still be quick and reasonable.

Surly makes some tough stuff, like non suspension forks to replace shock forks for front motor setups, and longtail conversion kits.
