WK-v3 || Kona coiler GNG 650w

Hi !

I wanted to see differences between a hub and a mid drive, so I build a new project with a GNG 650w !

It works now, but I'm waiting to receive the #25 transmission for the reduction (original is very noisy), and craft a battery box into the triangle.

I will use 12S lipo if speed is sufficient for me, or i will upgrade to 18S.

Yeah, I will post a video here about 2-3 weeks max, and I will say if it's f*cking good to ride or no
But I think it could be funny if not too noisy and reliable

Would you be able to make a video of your bike before you try to quite it down? I am curious how loud it really is. Also, does this kit still have a crummy spring tensioner that doesnt put much tention on the chain? (rather than adjustable sheets)

Today ride @ 24S lipo 45A with my friend bzhwindtalker, very funny !
Sound is a little loud with the first chain reduction but acceptable and funny.

- Will see to buy lightinrods brackets to remove the chain tensioner.
- Will see to add a temp sensor, I think it will be appreciable.
- Waiting for #25 half link to change the reduction and see if I could use #25 without tensioner and if sound is better

was this 650w only? how did you pull wheelies (at the end of the video) with so little watts? i can't do it and my kit is 2.2kw ;(

he says he is running 24s @ 45A thats more like 4.5kw

ah yes. i was mislead by the topic. 4.5kw sound more reasonable. looking forward to hear your long time experience about the whole drive train!
