stocks are sure going up :thumb: biden won't be able to push thru a tax increase for at least 2 years, until the next mid term election
See, this is why we (most of us) can't have nice things.
No it's not. Most of us can't have nice things like doing the work on my house it needs because there's always deconstructionists like you trying to destroy everything so you somehow can magically benefit.

You think it's ok that MILLIONS of Americans are going to be on the street with just the clothes on their backs after all the standing eviction moratoriums lapse.
Oooooh, suddenly you LIKE Trump. If he doesn't return for a second term, his moratorium ends. https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2020/10/12/trump-renter-eviction-moratorium-lawsuits/
Now WHY do you think that making things worse with higher taxes will help anyone but bloated politicians? Oh, wait, you're BIDEN supporter, I forgot.

You don't think WEALTHY Americans have any responsibility to pay taxes or make any other kind of contribution to keeping the country that made them so fortunate a habitable place.
The wealthy are the people who ARE paying the taxes. I just posted it again in the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure I was correcting YOU and your usual nonsense. The non wealthy don't pay the real taxes. I'm on a long block, 17 houses on each side, some have multiple families, or at least adult children, there could be close to 100 tax returns. There are individual tax returns of the wealthy that greatly exceed all of us combined. What were the numbers I posted? Was it the upper half pay 97%? 1 out of 5 pay 70% and 4 out of 5 pay 30%? YOU are getting a free ride that the wealthy are paying for.
Wall Street likes a PREDICTABLE government. That's why they didn't like Trump, he'd place a moratorium on evictions when they didn't expect it. If Wall Street is stable, the ability to do ANY business not related to Wall Street is stable. People such as Mr. Gruber who have some understanding what Wall Street is appreciate there are great intangibles in a healthy Wall Street.

It's good that the Senate wont be taken over by Dems otherwise they'd just pass whatever Biden wants which is no good.
What remains to be seen is: Will it be a repeat of Obama in the Senate?
I guess you mean where the House was able to bring about the sequester while Obama was SCREAMING about not getting to spend as recklessly as he wanted. He was still getting to be plenty reckless is my point. There's always someone the bad president can make a deal with. If you know of the 300 Hipolytes at Thermapolye (Some people say 'Spartans') they were betrayed, that's how the Persians defeated them.
Biden may not push socialism through on an Omnibus bill, but he'll Fabian and Fabian and there'll be those who don't allow themselves to see they're becoming creeping socialists, not deliberately but allowing it to happen.
Biden defeats America.
