By adapters do you mean on the mechanical side, or on the electronics side? If the entire drivetrain has been designed for 24V, you're obviously risking damage by going to 36. Do you know if the controller can take such voltages?

This battery doesn't look very powerful either, and you need to check its current/power ratings. Just because a battery runs on 36V doesn't mean it can necessarily give out more power than a 24V one.

The Razor uses two 12V SLA (lead acid) batteries. Why don't you look at LiFEPO4 equivalents like these. You'll have to search to make sure they are of similar size. They will be a lot lighter than SLA.

Advantage is you're not overvolting the motor/electronics. LiFEPO4 is a lot safer than the LI-ion hoverboard packs too.

Doing the math, you’ll lose about 6% of your range. The new pack has 20 2200mAh cells, so something less than $3.50 per cell; generic cells of unknown origin, possibly used. Luckily it’s been “Strictly inspection

I agree that the LiFEPO4 is a much better and safer option. Or you can save the $70 and just light your garage on fire directly.
