xenoDisplay

yeah, so we could interface to the CA, but likely not the controller without some sort of serial interface card that would read the output of the controller.

Update:

The xenoDisplay now shows the battery pack temperature (overall average), total pack voltage, and total pack State of charge. Even better, it auto-detects the number of cells in the pack and adjusts the display to match. Lots of interface improvements (finger swipe controlled scrolling through the individual cell detail display, device network connection status icons, miniaturized main gauges when viewing cell detail display, etc. etc.). It's all touch driven too, so very nice... :) The next time Travis comes over, we'll do some video footage of it in action and post it on the xenopi website.

So can you guys make the little growing leaves like in the Ford? :D

Any new updates? I'm going to look at getting a new phone, kind of debating betwen a pre and an android. I know you said you would be moving on to different platforms after the iphone, but is there an order that you plan to move on to? Will you do the android before the pre, or vice versa?

We favor Android over WebOS (Palm). Palm is on the ropes too (they just announced they are trying to sell themselves to another company). So, if it makes any difference to you, we'll most likely tackle Android before we do Palm (if we ever do a Palm port).

sounds like a great product and i hope you guys go all the way with this. a couple suggestions:

1. capture i2c stream from eagle tree elogger lcd port. this would take care of us sensorless rc controller guys.

2. integrated dc-dc 5v so i can charge my iphone and disable sleep

We do not hook up anything physically to the iPhone. It's all done via wifi because Apple is so draconian with their hardware restrictions.. This system probably isn't appropriate for eBikes... Later on, we may do something that will physically hook up to an Android phone which might be more appropriate for eBikes and other small scale EV's...
