YADEA FUSION F335 MID MOTOR

UNFORTUNATELY IN MY COUNTRY GREECE THERE IS NO SUPPORT FOR MY ELECTRIC BIKE. SO AFTER THE CONTROLLER BROKE, I BOUGHT A 36 VOLT KT. THE CABLE CONNECTIONS ARE GOOD, BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEED INDICATOR. MY MOTOR HAS (3) POWER CABLES, (3) HALL SENSORS (1) 5 VOLT (1) GRND AND (1) BROWN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT DOES. THE CONTROLLER HAS 3 CURRENT FOR MOTORS, 5 (3+2) FOR HALL SENSORS, AND (1) WHITE I MEASURED 5 VOLT POWER. I AM THINKING OF CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL SPEED SENSOR WITH (3) WIRES. I WILL GIVE CURRENT FROM THE RED AND BLACK, THIS PAIR PROVIDES 5 VOLT CURRENT TO THE HALL SENSORS, AND THE WHITE WIRES THAT ARE FROM THE CONTROLLER SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO THE THIRD WIRES OF THE SPEED SENSOR, WHAT DO YOU THINK IS A GOOD IDEA??? We would love it if you don't use all caps when communicating in english, it's perceived as the text equivalent of yelling :O

We don't know what controller you have.

For the motor connection, if one side doesn't have a brown wire, discard it.
Does the maker of the controller provide a wiring diagram to show what colors go where?
If not, i would ask for it before experimenting with new ways to hook things up!

I would personally not buy a controller unless a wiring diagram is provided.

Some pictures of the controller wires would be helpful
 
I sincerely apologize for the huge letters, I apologize! I am sending a photo. It is difficult to find a controller from Ali Express with a diagram, my goal is to be able to coordinate the tubular controller in the photo with the motor, perimenv na eruei ejvterikos aisuhthraw taxythtas kai na to syndesv as I wrote with red 5 volts black grnd and white..

That's why i never buy controllers from ali express... just low quality and can produce lots of hassle.. also rarely are they programmed well.

Here's a thought..
the brown wire could be:
- temperature sensor
- speed sensor
- PAS sensor
- combination of different signals
- maybe even something else

With the controller on, motor spinning and a multimeter connected between the black and brown wires, you may be able to determine if this is a speed sensor because the voltage should go up/down rapidly.

but one problem is that the controller may not be compatible with the speed sensor output, unless this controller is programmable. If it is maybe if the brown wire is a speed sensor, it could actually be used.

In the worst case it's worth considering just using an old fashioned speed sensor for a bike.
 
I measure the brown with the black, no indication. When I measure the red with the brown it shows 5 volts, treat the brown as grnd. I will probably put an external speed sensor and I think I will not affect the controller because I will get 5 volts from the red in parallel for the external sensor:unsure:
 
also do you know in p1, now it says 87. how can I know the speed ratio "ratio"?. my motor has 8 magnets

I've never seen a mid drive motor that uses an internal speed sensor, since speed depends on the gearing. Almost all mid drives that I've seen use an external speed sensor. Is this the motor?

This is exactly the motor, and unfortunately I don't have technical support, the controller died and I want to make it work with a kt controller that I bought. Everything is fine except for the speed indicator. I hope when the external one comes I can connect it to the white cable of the controller and it will work. Do you know what the brown cable inside the motor measures? Thanks.

There are KT experts here that may chime in. My recollection is that when I used a KT, I set the wheel size correctly, then P2 to 1 for the number of wheel speed magnets. The signal wire from the wheel sensor connected to the white input wire to the KT hall connector. The sensor and controller connected to a common ground. I don’t think P1 made a difference, but rather gets lifeline from an ES expert.

Yes and yes. Again, it was several years ago, so I don't recall whether I did anything beyond what I mentioned, but hopefully a resident KT expert can clarify.
 
Welcome, thank you for your willingness, as soon as the sensor arrives I will install it and update on the results.!!!
 
I connected the red speed sensor with red, black with black and white with white to the controller, I set p2 =1 and everything is perfect. thank you!!!
