Yamaha mid-drive external controller

Hello,
I am tired of the frequent electronic breakdowns on my MBK electric bicycle, powered by a Yamaha mid-drive motor (PM series). So, I think about adapting an external controller.
I have read about some swaps on Bosch or Panasonic motors, but could not find the topics. I know that I will lose some features, like torque sensor and different power levels. But I need to have my bike working again, and maybe I will even get a little more power.
Which type of controller would be the more suitable ? Sine wave (Bms-battery for example), in order to simulate the torque sensor, and lcd display for the power levels ?

Hi I have a aprilia mid drive bike I also had problems with my controller my bike is 24v so I sent to China for a new controller cost was around €13.00 I also fitted a throttle I disposed of the torque and speed sensors now it runs nice the controller is good for the price there are lots to choose from and I had some good advise from people on this forum that was a great help. Rob.
