you feel hard done by the power limit law in your country?

If I put one of those tiny .049cc R/C motors on my ebike does that mean I can legally go 30 instead of 20? :p

Only if you add control lines and only go in big circles.
 
I really don't feel the Canadian limit of 32 kph is too limiting. 35 would be better, but 32 is ok. Before I got my electric setup, I did think that. But having had it for awhile, I'm content with going around 32. I do think the Uk limit of 25 kph is a bit ridicules. If my bike had to be limited to that speed, I don't think I'd even get an electric bike. A good aerodynamic bike can cruise faster than that.
The draw back of going faster is you drain more power and lose efficiency. That’s why I don’t feel too limited with 32 kph. Besides, I don’t think cops around here really know much about the law for ebikes. I’d be surprised if they busted someone for going 38 kph on an ebike.
