Since Balmorhea, hasn't signed in since the 20th you really were him. I can't believe you didn't know the actual effects of different windings for a given motor. Now I have better picture of why you're so far left, and at least part of it is that you just don't know better. That means there's actually some hope for you yet, since the winding thing did finally kick into focus for you.

why does it matter HERE? What relevance does it have HERE? What right do you think you have to out another member in this fashion? With no more proof than a hunch?

I just brought it up because Balmorhea was acting like Chalo, who was kicked off the forum, so I had that suspicion. Since I assumed that Chalo was intelligent enough to already understand that the great Myth about motor windings was false, I figured he wasn't really Chalo. I hadn't ever even poked into this part of the forum before, but popped in to see what was being said about the election and maybe get some short cuts to decent info, which is hard to come by with so much absolute crap from both sides. Low and behold here's Balmorhea in here sounding an awful lot like Chalo. Now as soon as Chalo is permitted back Balmorhea goes absent, so they are one in the same, and since Chalo didn't understand that basic, though often misunderstood, thing about motors, he gets knocked down a few rungs on my ladder of respect.

Regarding the rest of your post, that's just more typical spoonfed propaganda. The Left (media and politicians) made Trump's job nearly impossible to get anything done, and sure Trump being the way he is turned off a lot of republicans, however, you're conveniently overlooking that Trump got millions more votes than last time. Plus as a Chalo lover, you're oblivious as to why that is. Regular people are fed up with the Left thinking they can tell them what to do, say, and think.

We're sick however of the Left pushing for laws that are essentially "special equality". Right wingers love "special equality". Let's be thematically consistent and call it alternative equality. Tax exemptions and discrimination law exemptions for religions, tax abatements and liability protections for corporations, and cops' special rights to abuse or kill us with impunity.

I am a Liberal. I am pretty far Left. Not because I say so, but because others say so. There is enough consensus about a Liberal position that when people hear one, they don't have to scratch their heads over the labeling. If I called myself a Conservative it just wouldn't work. I'd spend so much time answering to the inevitable push-back from people such as yourself that it wouldn't be worth it to insist about it. Unless you are Dauntless.

What issues are you progressive about? List them. Let US be the judge. I don't know, I'm not sure it can matter a whole lot how progressive a person can be when they support Trump! I mean ... it doesn't sound like you are a racist. In fact, it's possible you are somewhere on the anti-racist spectrum. On it's face, that is rather admirable. But you are Pro-Life. You believe life begins at conception. You believe the OFFICE of POTUS is more important than the individual who inhabits the position. AFAIC those positions wipe out ANY claims to a progressive outlook a person can have. You believe there was widespread fraud in the last Presidential Election. There is no intelligent discussion about this that is possible.

To me, sub-labels like 'Progressive' just muddy a pretty stark divide between Liberal and Conservative. The term has come about mainly to differentiate Liberals (Democrats) that are even further to the Left than more moderate Democrats. It really isn't a term that can apply to any Conservative, no matter how enlightened their position.
