Hi everyone
I returned on this forum with a big question: I saw specs of Zero Motorcycle that seem very good, but I did not understand the chemistry that their battery has,
can you help me?
Many many thanks

docbass has some really good posts on here regarding the internals of the zero battery
which model? year?
the older 2011 model used limn molicells
they changed the vendor since and upped the voltage as well....

I think the 2013 Zeros used EIG cells, but the 2014 Zero uses cells from Farasis.

Hi
MY 2014-2015, I'm referring to characteristics of DS battery
Fasasis Nickel Magnesium Cobalt (nmc) 28s 25ah cells in each brick.

mitch was telling me to watch the Coparts insurance auctions to find a wrecked Zero for the battery pack.

but if found a wrecked Zero i would likely try to rebuild it if i had time.

If you believe their Youtube videos then they make their own battery and motor.

I think its common knowledge that forum member Liveforphysics is their battery guy. I also know the motor guy and I don't know if he wants you knowing who he is. :) Yes they make their own battery and motors. The cells are from farasis but Liveforphysics works with them to get it just right :)

I am more interested in the Motor/controller combo.

Well I guess I must not be 'common' because this is news to me :) , but I am pretty new to this motorcycle section...
