Improving speed on my 37V 250W bike

The motor says "Brushless without Hall Sensor". This means that there is no Hall Sensor in this motor. This is a pedal first type. The 4 control wires are for 3-phase emf detection using an extra 3-phase control windings. The controller that you bought is not the correct type. You need a...

    Inside a GM 48v 1000w controller

It also sounds a bit strange to me because the high side FETs do the PWM switching!? Does this controller have regen braking?

Low voltage DC inverter for more speed ?

Wonder if your step-up dc-dc converter uses booster circuitry?

Golden Motor Regen BLDC 48V controller

Some maths here! This 40 ohm stove element is for 240V. And at 240V, the current is 6A and the power is 1440W. For an ebike, if the regen voltage is 60V, then the current is only 1.5A.

Please also state whether the "reverse' link is CLOSE or OPEN if there is such a link in the controller.

    Kelly controller hook up?

Seems that it would have a lower starting torque than a battery current limited controller!?

New Infineon v Old PIC Controller - A 48V Bafang PMGR Test

IMO. Don't think this is good because any high voltage spikes/ noise could confuse the Infineon.

high power/high speed BLDC controller build

From some previous posts, both methods seem to work as well as the other.

high power/high speed BLDC controller build

    For fourteen magnets (7 pole pairs) and twelve stator windings. 7 pole pairs = 360 x 7 = 2520 elect deg 1 stator pole = 360 x 7 / 12 = 210 elect deg (a) Spacing Hall sensors across 1 stator pole = 210 elect deg 210 deg : 0 : -210 deg It is not possible to obtain 120 deg spacing (even if you try...

    OK explain this to me

Any change if you could take a photo of the inside of your motor in order to determine the effective spacing (120 or 60 deg)?

    Do you mean 1.5 amp?

    Version 2 Crystalyte Controller information

Please ref to the circuit B in the previous post. The circuit B with the inductance acts an buck convertor which could reduce the effective dc voltage V2. But the effective current I2 is larger than I1. For PWM duty cycle of 41% V2 = Vbattery x 0.41 I2 = I1/0.41 = I1x2.4 (for the very large...
