So back in the early 90's I joined efnet & undernet IRC to just talk and BS with people like myself.
It's also where I started to learn about computers and the internet.
A lot of us spend quite a bit of time hanging on this board for good reason and it had me wondering
if there would be any interest in hanging on a IRC channel to get advice or just get to know people ?
I don't want to do anything to take away from the board and unless a good majority of people thought it
was a good idea it's not worth perusing.
Pretty much you use a IRC client http://www.mirc.com and join a server (Dalnet, Efnet, Undernet, etc.)
or even run our own server.
People join a channel and you just type whatever you want and when you hit enter everyone can read.

Little write up about what I am talking about.
Just a thought and maybe a bad one , but just thought id throw it out there.
