Hello everyone, I have a Levit Muscata bike, it is locked to 25 km/h. Can anyone help me increase the maximum speed?

What motor is used? google suggests its a mid drive? Bafang/Tongshein have software to configure the motors, some Bosch Yamaha may be 'tricked' with a 'replacement speed sensor' if handy with an arduino, its a very diy job afaik. but expect to spend lots on 3rd party solutions.. also after the 'dongle fix' the bikes speedo will read wrong and other metrics like distance etc may be off too

Fwiw generally off the shelf e-bikes with hub motors and generic bolt on controllers are the easiest and cheapest bikes to de-regulate.

Also consider the full implications of riding an unregulated bike.. Will other rd users expect you to move at higher speeds if they even see you?? are your bikes brakes capable of stopping you within a safe distance at higher speeds? ...

Do you have the Bafang programming cable? If the display isn’t locked then the bafang config tool should work. You can search the forum and you’ll find a few threads. You may need to identify if the display uses UART or CAN bus communication since Bafang used both.

Also, I saw a few post about open source firmware for the display/motor, in case yours is locked.

I have a cable, and I think the display is blocked because I cannot change any parameters from it. I thought it was a matter of key combination, but you probably need to unlock the ability to change parameters via the display in the controller
