Clunk when scooter wheel is touching the ground scooter wont move.

My scooter wheel wont move while touching the ground when I hit the throttle in just goes clunk clunk
If u lift the wheel off the ground and hit accelerator it goes right to full speed but withe a winy noise

Presumably direct drive, clunking while stalled … I’ll bow out, I haven’t encountered it.

But someone else here is sure to have and can help you … if you provide more details.

I have no idea. I’m imagining a snapped axle that binds when loaded, but only because that it’s interesting to imagine, not because it’s probable.

some possibilities
-- battery problem causing battery lvc shutoff then reengage then shutoff then reengage, repetitititively
-- wiring fault causing battery connection issue causing controller lvc shutoff/reengage
-- wiring fault causing hall signal issues (or actual hall sensor failure), assuming motor isn't sensorless
-- wiring fault causing phase signal issues

there are many threads about troubleshooting and fixing each of these issues if you poke around.

What are the lights (display lights, headlights, etc.) doing while it clunks? Do they stay on, flicker or turn off?
