Ugh damn Chinese controllers

So i have a 5 wire throttle with key lock. Red green black for the throttle. Yellow and white for the key. The controller I have does have a specific set of wires for the key switch which is yellow and black. So Im wondering what do i wire the key switch to? See my pictures. Thanks everyone

Posting in case you don't find it:

If those are all the connectors, I would guess that this controller does not actually support internal on/off switching; normally there would be an "ignition/ignite/e-lock/etc." wire. If it doesn't, that means you can't use the key switch to power it on/off without a separate antispark/contactor. Alternatively, if you just want to use the key switch as a lock, the easiest way would be to hook it up to the brake connector-except that the switch might operate it in the reverse direction, making it only run when the key was out... Possibly the alarm connector would also work if you could figure it out, but unlikely and difficult.

The yellow and white are normally the keyswitch on the throttle

Sorry, I only see the yellow and white from the throttle. I don’t see that on the controller like you mentioned.

I found it.

As it says in your manual, the thin red wire is the switch on/off wire. You have it hooked to the main power so the controller will be ON all the time.

But thats what the manual says? What other wire goes with that this red power wire?

If your throttle only has a key switch, then it wouldn’t matter. One wire from the throttle key switch would go to battery +, and the other to the controller’s thin red Electric Key Lock/Key Switch/Electric Door Lock/Ignition/Power Lock/Controller Power wire.
if your throttle has a battery level meter, then you’d want to do some testing before connecting them.

Ok so I hooked up the red wire from the “alarm” wire to the white wire on the throttle and it gave power to my switch when it was connected. The battery gauge showed up. However when I turned the key off the motor would still run. So i think the other “alarm power supply” wires are the ones I need to wire to the white and Yellow. Those are red and black. I guess trial and error at this point and hope not to fry the controller

Why are you messing around with the alarm wires??? What battery gauge?

Yup, because it’s the on/off, key switch wire.
