One more comment regarding the 60XG. In my experience, out of the hundreds of different cell models I’ve tested, only a handful have shown significant improvement within a single model name. In other words, this is as much as we can expect from 60XG model. Anyway Tenpower releases a “testing report” document for its models, it would confirm this parameter for us.

Yeah, I'm willing to bet production cells will be a lot better than preprod.

We already saw what happened with the EVE 50PL, so willing to be good.

Agreed, it would be weird to have such a disadvantage on the market.

The issue with EVE 50PL pre-production model was high self-discharge rate, but discharge and particularly cycle life characteristics was outstanding. Similar isuue i have with early LG M58(T) model. But this 60XG problem seems more serious to me.

In any case, I just sent an email to Tenpower asking if they'd like to comment on this.

I'd like to, but I haven't been able to get it yet. This report was available for the previous 50XG and 30XG models, so I assume it exists for the 60XG as well.

We know about it. I haven't been able to get my hands on samples yet, so I'm just guessing that it might be a sibling to the Amprius/Great Power 60Q. But that needs to be verified.

Okay, thanks. I think I will go for BAK 50D2 for our project. The pricing is lower for this cell comparing with linkdata too
