I put it on a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Never got hot enough to turn to goo. I think Kydex has different properties than ABS as well.

What a POS idea. Like a backpack is really that intrusive when riding. Kinda reminds me of the old TV/VCR combo. Most people had a TV with a broken VCR stuck to it.
