Toronto asked to keep e-bikes off sidewalks and bike lanes!

As someone that rides my ebike(not e-scooter-I'm not against them but they are different)on toronto bike paths/lanes and roads-I must say that I have no desire to ride on the sidewalk. But people like this Yvonne character need to wake the f-ck up.I usually cruise around at 20-25 kph and it never...

    my ampedbike kit review

Hey Danny welcome to ES.I have a question for you-Is it possible to buy just the rear hub with no controller and rim?I have a beefy crystalyte controller(72v/60amp) and plenty of high grade 24"rims and I use washers with the spokes, otherwise I pop them like crazy.Oh and stay with your...

    Cheapo motors..............

I would like to see a base starting point for this RC stuff ala X5 hub motor. For example buy this kind of motor, one of matts mounts, this kind of ESC,this voltage and this freewheel assembly with these sprockets and this gets you such and such top speed and great acceleration.I myself am...

    P R O J E C T "Y" KILLABICYCLE World record 17 june 2009

Doc,Ypedal has some great 20"rims-real wide and beefy-I would get those and use a smooth 3" chopper tire for stability.Or you can get oddessy 20" /2.25 tires that go to 110 psi-they fit great on the wide rims.

Currie 1000w scooter motor VS RC motors?

Hey I am actually building a bike with that currie motor. The only problem I have encountered is that you have to gear it high to get some performance out of it.for example to get good acceleration you should use 20" tires and get the biggest crank sprocket and freewheel hub you can find. Also the...

Need input on my next build..........

If you want strong rims-ask ypedal-I bought his wide heavy duty 20" rims for my motard project and they fit 3" chopper tires-but I think your 2.25 will fit just fine as well.He got these rims from the zero motorcycle guys before they switched to 24" rims. They are priced cheap as well.
