    A2B new to me

I let myself slip and I bought an old A2B Metro at a garage sale for $450. Everything works. A and B battery pull just fine. Brakes, throttle, switch gear, all normal. It has some corrosion from being in the beach area, but no sun or water damage. Good tires, good brake pads. Not bad. The rear...

    $40 electric bike

I picked up this bike for forty bucks. It has a nimh pack and charger that works well. It has a li (?) pack that does not charge. The bike is a beach cruiser ( read: corroded ) that works well. It is 100% operational, almost no miles and the bearings are ALL smooth and quiet! The motor...

    Have batteries, need bike motor

I have 139 Samsung 18650 batteries. They are 2 years old and are still at 3.8VDC, consistently I have an old Steel Mongoose full suspension bike that I can weld on mounting tabs as needed. I think I should buy a Cycle Satiator charger, even though this will limit me to a 15S X 9P pack. Now...

    Re-viving a Giant revive

I came across a Giant Revive. It has died a slow death of neglect. At least it was in a garage. I like the "cruiser" seating position and the nice soft ride. But, I cannot find ANY technical information on it! I know it's only 24v , But is there any repair manual to be had? Is there any wiring...

    24 VDC brushed speed controller

As some of you have seen by all of my recent posts, I have gotten my board back on the street after a long time. I changed to a 6S-6P 18650 battery pack. My old Jetti 80 amp r/c airplane controller that worked so well on NiMh cells refuses to work on Lithium. So I had an old Dimension...

    Street Carver Electric

Here is a modification of a Chinese rip-off of BMW's street carver skateboard of long ago. I got it for $60 delivered. Of course it died within 5 miles of use , but by then I was hooked on the feel of these trucks. Rudi Meuller , I believe designed these in Germany. Any how, I got some 18650...

    Current Sharing Idea

I made up a 6S6P battery pack for my skateboard. I used a current sharing idea to wire it up. I used 20 gauge tinned copper wire. It was pretty easy. It used only a small amount of heat to solder each connection to each cell. I am happy so far.

    Sanyo UR18650FM4 Batteries

I received a lot of Sanyo UR18650FM4 cells today. It was a trade for services received. I would like to make up a 48 V 20A battery pack for a bike, but I don't know where to start. I have soldered-up a lot of NiCads and NiMh cells with out any problems and soldering is my only way of making a...
