I'm no expert by any means in bycycle parts and mosty of my stuff is cheapos, because I end up cutting them up anyhow and I would feel bad if I paid stupid money for it, and even the higher end stuff I am still not supper excited about I still want to do something different
the jockey wheel closest to the cog hit it, I asume jockey is the derraileur wheel?, cog? is the I dont know, but I get it its a large hop and there may be some difficulties, in my thinking the megarange 34tooth is more so an emergency gear in case of a breakdown or lack of range, I couldnt imagine pedaling home on the highest gear ever, so in real life I hope I wont need it but if it comes to it its there, so maybe I can manually engage it if I must, anyways those are details but thanks for the heads up

that looks so solid. not need to worry about loosing it on a corner with that
I honestly think I overdid it, not so much the 21inch diameter but the with, does not look much like a bike anymore, all in all the tire/tube combo is about an 8 pound penalty and the od is closer to a 29er, you know they make 27 1/2 that would be about it, I like the larger wheels in general for lower rolling resistance higher speed etc, I am not much of an offroader, jumper etc, not too concerned with torque performance and overheating, just want a dependable comuter, and initially I wanted a 29er, should have probably stick with that than I saw this post and went nuts, I hate this hobby,
if I had to do it again I would start by looking for a 21x1.4 rim if they make such a thing and a thinner tire, the 80/90 I ordered may still be too much, maybe a 70/xx in a road tread, andhopefully about 5 lbs, which should be available, this 2 ply is a little over 7 lbs, there is just too much disproportion between the rear tire with and the front one which is a regular 2 inch bike tire, this kindof makes me think of doing something like that on the front, but at that point might as well get a larger hub and more batteries, forget the pedals, see where this is going....
all in all I like the MC wheel I'm just saying if that is all you are going to upgrade on the bike be modest, or it will stick out like a sore thumb
