Steveo.. Here is the proof... But i needed to decrease the throttle to 61% cause the bad scaling make the reading too difficult.. but still 196pound of trust at 61% throttle!!

And THE TORQUE IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE CURRENT.. see on the graph for compare...

Please note that the blue curve slope change is when the current limit is in the working area..

And... what do you think?....... ..... ..... ...... 8) ......... ...... :D

Doc

 ..

lol .. wana race for pinks lol!!!!

Steveo.. I realize that Justin had work hard on that simulator cause it precisly show the real actual measured results i got!

see the comparaison with my old and first Ebike setup (remember my Red Trek 970 ?)...

See also the Youtube torque test.. it reveal a 84lbs truse at 50A 80V on a 26" wheel.. .. And also had a top speed of 64km/h

Hey Doc

I've played with the simulator some more and your 100% correct ..

Doc i think you can do a tractor pull with your bike soon if you could get 200lbs of torque with you burning the motor windings lol ..

I have seen something similar on a Honda at 9000RPM on our dyno (my partner was tuning...while is customer engine said no more RPM just at the end of the dyno pull :) )

You should be able to push 10 000Watt if you're watercooled !

You can give that fish to the child of parents-you-dislike. (I rekon it's 'bass' that radiates from a woofer in SPL drags.)

The old 5305 i have have also the 14mm axel.. but the new custom 5305 i'll have will have 18mm Axel!

Doc

I guess it's the only way to find some space for few more wire and 2 coolant line ;)

Can you give me some info on that 18 mm axel ???

I was thinking of simply making 2 groove on the axel (on the gear side) and having the coolant line there... but 18mm axel sound better :)

Robin
hay im willing to rig somthing up for water cooling the motor stater :p looks like thats going to be my new project ill start brain storming :p

Just went for a nice run this evening .. the torque of the x5 is incredible at 133v and only 32 amps using the irfb4115 controller..

It is quite cold out tonight.. i dressed really warm... -3 degrees .. .. i never saw the temp of the motor higher then 40 degree's...

i can't wait to get all my chargers working and get a video out to you guys .. you will love it !!!

i definatly want to know my 0-60 time hehe ..

I was thinking 0-60km/h lol .. but we could do it in miles .. I really need a motorcycle windsheild at that speed .. the wind resistance is crazy.

controller works great steveo. i originally wanted to run it at 39volts. its now at 52volts hehe. i found the resister to adjust the lvc if you ever work on them in the future.

cheers
where is the resister located to ajust the lvc ?? id realy like to know got a crap load of theas bad boys lol

heh just follow the red arrow sorry i didn't get the value off the resister when i removed it. flew off and hit the floor kinda like finding a needle in a haystack. i cheated unlike the gm controller this controller
Goes into lvc if you remove the resister. so what i did was add two wires and power the controller up with my voltage 52volts. one side of the resister will be the full voltage other side should drop to 3volts
anything above or below 3volts the controller goes into lvc. took about a hour to track it down there getting better at hiding the lvc.

cheers

your ca is packed and ready to ship pm me with your address when you get the chance.
