2810 removing the hall board ?

I been having a sputter for a couple days off and on and know dead. I had replace a surface resistor 6mos. ago on the hall board and was working.
So hook up the Lyen tester and all the halls light up and stayed on at the same time so open her up and with a magnet they wouldn't change. Yes I triied both north and south.
It sounds like a short as if in the wires. But I hate that hall broad and going to rip it out and elemate it as a problem. Plus I didn't want to pull wires thru the axle yet. Can I probe the board and test in a way ?
So is there a problem taking the board out ?

Can the board fail so it lights on and won't turn off with a pass of a maganet ? But the hall still works ?

There were 2 problems a short in the jumper test wire from H.F. and a cold solder on a leg of a hall . So took out the board and put in some new halls the other two work but broke one leg so replaced them. !8 solder joints with wire ext.. What did I get myself into. It tested go so got to get bolted togethere.

Harbor Freight I bet.

Yeah, you can just lose the board and run naked halls. That's how lots of cheaper motors come anyway. I have found the board to be the weak link when you really heat em up.

Sorry Harbour freight is right and has a lot of cheap products $. I took out the board and the wires were a little short so had to lenghten so 18 solder joints but as I finish I broke the leg on a hall and mail off for 6 more sensors (spares). It's taking a long time. But all the halls are testing fine with the Lyen tester so everything is still on the bench. A test wire short under the rubber aligator clip protector. So now must also test the simple things as a jump wire ect. Would have save so much time. I feel so stupid.

Back on the road works great just wish I had more amps as my 9fet Lyen only gives out 29amps with the 82v. It's a little heavy as 24s 20ah of lifpo4 battery. It gives me 30mph so is great for the street and the potholes plus the coastal hills. So I'm happy with this 2810.

Yea a 2810 on 24s lifepo4 sounds like a dream. I don't have that kind of battery laying around so I'm delta-wyeing my 2810 on 48V for a similar effect.
