I'm not much of a wheel expert, so can someone tell me if this looks like a 3 cross spoke pattern? It's a folding bike with 24" wheels. Although it's not one of the better name brands, I am looking at it be/c not many folding bikes have 36 spokes, which is what I need for my Currie USPD. Plus, it has six speeds, non coaster brakes in the rear, and isn't much over $100 on craigslist. There are other zoomable pictures of the wheel on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001NRU496?smid=A1N8YDZFW5QVB6

I think the triple cross pattern is more common than just on 700cm and small hubbed bikes.

Anyhow, here is a photo from the seller. In some places, it looks like it crosses more than once.

Note the blue spoke and how many times it crosses the red spokes...3...same as your pictured wheel ;)

If you would like to know how to lace a 3 spoke pattern here is what i used to learn

, and when I look at my wheelset I own, you can count 9 groupings of spokes, each with 4 spokes. In the blue bike photo, I don't quite see that. Is the angle of the photo deceiving me?

Here's another shot of the wheel the seller sent. I just want to be sure before I make a 70 mile roundtrip to look at the bike.

I would say its the picture playing tricks on you buddy, its also a larger od wheel than the pic and thus the spokes seemed a lil more spaced i guess...heres a pic i just photochopped showing the 3 cross-->

Hope this helps ;)
