36v 10s BMS for 11S pack

Hello to all on the ES forum ,ive been online reading for a while and this is my 1st post .

A good friend introduced me to the forum and E-Bikes and as a result now have a new hobby

Ive purchased from Ewan Emax Bikes a 350v 36v Ban8 middrive motor kit ( which is fantastic )
and decided to make my own battery ~ 36v 15ah battery from 18650 batteries incorporating a BMS and using a HPRC plastic hard case + fuse.

This has been fitted on the bike and works a treat , getting 60+ ks with assist.

Looking through the forum , ive been inspired to by Keplers "Kepler style 18650" battery design.

So version 2 battery is in making.

I want to make a 4.2v x 11s battery = 46v 15ah ~ Nominal 3.7v x 11s = 40v 15ah

My question is
I've ordered and received a 36v 10s with active Bleed BMS ~
Can I parallel one of the 10s balance leads to make this 11s battery

I understand that the cells will need to be capacity wise very simular and that these 2 rows of batteries will always be the same .
but are there any issues that I have overlooked ??

no, you have to use it on a 10S pack.

Bugger , i was hoping I could get the slightly higher voltage ~ is there a way around this ??
A different BMS , I've looked on Ebay and Aliexpress and haven't found any 36v 11s bms
Can you recommend one ??

The easiest is to jump directly to a 13s pack with a 13s BMS and a 48V charger.

Doing a 11s or even 12s lithium-ion just could make you wasting more money than needed if you compared with 48V 13s standar BMS, charger, controller, battery meters, etc

You also need to know if the controller you were using for 36V work with 48V battery

I will check to see if the controller can support a 48v battery as per your suggestion .
if not I will go the 10s route and just increase the ah the battery has and make the battery nice and stealthy like the Keplar version .

your controller should work up to 15S of limno2 or lipo. 16S of lifepo4.
