36v 14AH with 500 watt brushless motor range?

I'm looking at this set up with 36v 14Ah Lithium battery w/ 500 watt rear brushless motor. Any input would be very helpful. The cost on this set up is going to be around $550.00. My concern is the range and speed I will be able to get with this set up. Of course based on a level surface and I'm around 6' 180lbs using a hard tail Haro Freightline Sport. Any input very appreciated !!!

My rule of thumb for 36v is 1 ah = 1 mile. AT speeds between 20-25 mph. This rule allows some reserve for the colder day, or a moderate headwind. You will be able to go farther, at slow speed and pedaling a lot, 30 miles is quite possible.

But if you have a 12 mile commute for example, 14 ah should be plenty.
