dogman said:Your best bet would be to get a charger for Mr Ping. But any 48v charger will be ok as long as you leave it charging for at least 12 hours or longer. The balancer is in the battery management board. Leaving a regular sla charger on for a long long time will still balance the pack since it still does a small bit of charging when the green light is on.

dogman said:yes, the packs bms will do no balancing at sla voltage, but the sla charger will continue to trickle and bring up the voltage of the lower than charger voltage cells. It does take forever, hence the need to leave plugged in for long , long,,,, longtime. It must work, my pack has been on sla chargers for 1200 miles but I allways leave charging for about 16 hours overnight since I am too lazy to get up and shut it off, or use a timer.

ok
Ypedal said:This ( white arrow ) Is the " BMS " .. Battery Management System.
It will ballance your pack with the charger that you have. No need for ballancing charger.
If you have a battery without a BMS, then you need a ballancing charger.. but you have a BMS !
