72v 10amp charger best place to buy ?

Thank you but just 5amps kingpan is about same price. I started with em3rv he has one but know only sells with battery. I did ask Paul first but no custom battery at this time. And my new battery builder doesn't sell 72v chargers. I have three mean Wells I can set at 28v each for now. I have one mean well 29.2 and a HP 550 that's isolated times two can I just series both groups for 84v ? So mean well and hp series with mean well HP ?

Em3ev won't sell chargers without battery then after No they are willing to sell me a 72v 5amp charger after review of my buying history.
Just brought this

Ok got my charger today need to put on the xt 60 for charging. I was surprised it has a 5 amp and 10 amp switch adjustable. I got my custom-made battery on the same day in a few short weeks the banks of the battery or from USA a-20s Samsung 40t at 6p the BMS is a 90 AMP and 50 amp charging. Well 10amp is good enough. We'll work on it tomorrow. I think I plug in the charger first let it boot up and then I plug in the battery should I use xt60 anti spark. as I'm an old-timer and use 4 mm bullets for charging and 5.5 mm gold plated bullets for discharge but I will switch over to the xt90 for discharge anti spark and the xt60 for charging.

They sent me this message.

Dear robert slubowski:
Have a nice day...
In order to reduce the current impact, usually need to plug it into the battery first .
When using for the first time, please make sure that the output anode matches the battery anode. ...

That's why I asked ? I always plug or turned on charger first. A little confused.

The vendor said I need plug into the battery first I don't get it.
So got the battery and the second time I plugged it in the charger made a loud Pop and stopped working. So I contacted zomia and they ask me to open it up and check the fuses and take pictures and send them. They also suggested that it was could be a very small item and I could get the part locally or they could send it to me and give me a partial refund. What I need is a working charger ?
I rather they send me another charger I do believe I read somewhere that it has a one year guarantee. ???

Dear robert slubowski:

We want to find the problem with this charger.
If the charger is no obvious burned, It's probably a small part malfunction... If so, We can do a partial refund then you can find replacement parts locally or we send replacement parts, I think this will be a convenient and fast solution.... So we need some help from you...How do you think about it?
Looking forward to your reply :)

Kindly regards
Jerry
The question is what does the vendor mean I mean I need a working charger 72 volt 10 amp with a 5amp and 10 amp switch great if it worked
This charger was 99.00 usd shipped.
The kingpan was 85.00 and 83.00 to ship. So I gamble.

I'm confused about plug it into the battery first or plug it into the wall first I was told by ping to plug it into the wall first (kingpan) and let the charger bood up then plug it into the battery the info I got from this charger company is I plug it into the battery first which is confusing to me. I guess I should follow the company's information.

I found the problem to be discharge mofets I showed them the picture they want me to get a replacement parts and repair it and they'll give me $40 after it works. I've already paid $8 for the fuses.
I don't know if I want to fix this thing get the parts Andre parrot for $40 it doesn't seem right. I don't know where to get the parts and I don't want to know it'd be different if I got a used charger and fixed it for free but I paid $99 for this thing.it's been so long since I paid for it and I still have it non-working I just want my money back. As this is not an easy fix.

My kuberg charger had to be plugged in wall 30 seconds to charge the caps up let the switching reach full frequency so there's not audible squael from the charger then plug to battery.
I had trouble with mine though it's just gone poof and starting arcing when I plug in so my bikes off road and I don't want another dumb charger I fancied a chargery 24s 1500w but it's like rocking horse shit to get hold of.

Because of the blown Moffet and the discoloration on the PCB board and the fuse holder is loose and flopping. I have started a complaint with eBay for the refund as for $40 and then me having to go by the moffatt's and take it apart and put it back together and hope that it works. Ask the seller for return shipping label and a refund.

Problem I got is my bike was ridden to low batt there's 20% left and I need a charger fast to get that back up it's already sat there 2 weeks and no one has replied to me yet so I may have to bite the bullet and get a cheap dumb charger or sell the bike to someone that wants it as I'm losing interest lately life's issues have become more to the fore front and I have less time for fun if at all.

Well I contacted eBay the next day they returned my money for the charger in full. So have a boost charger I want to see how that works .I guess that I would have to go with the kingpin 900-watt for $85 and $83 shipping
Or three 24v meanwell set to 84v.

So I have one burned fet and will try and replace it. But if I replace one I should replace all four as I have to desolder all 4 so must replace all four. They said it's a
Osg55r092a to247 600v 120a fet.
So is this the same
5pcs FGH60N60SMD FGH60N60 Transistor IGBT N-Ch 600V 120A TO247
Thank you

Just had a reply from chargery they can ship me a unit so I'm going to take the plunge and get one it's $438 dollars after postage and currency conversions but way I see it is the charger will run all my rides or anything from 4s upto 24s and 1500watt so I can turn my ride around in 40 mins when I recell and 1and half hours now plus if I use the same connectors I can make a portable high power boombox allways wanted a 1kw or so boom box that's mobileish.

I was thinking about grins startor but expensive and only 5 amps at 72 volts. All my batteries stop at 84v top charge. I need 10amps as with my meanwell 24 hp 600 series times two for 42v each 1 hr charge time.
I want the kingpan 900v at 85usd but shipping 83 usd ? I like it for travel and they hold up will as my kingpan 600 is 10yrs old and working.
I'm going to look up your charger now and find out all about it.

The grins is water proof and good customer service but like you mentioned for quick turn around of decent power just lacks the guts to get the job done it makes a good travel charger bit its expensive to buy as a second unit.

_IMG_000000_000000.jpg
Turned up a day early 13days to my door can't fault it does exactly what is says in the tin.

Gonna mod it I like it other than that shitty bit of wire stuck out the front and the rubber grommet is waiting to fail chaife and short, so that and the xt90 can go and I'll fit 45amp Anderson PP flush panel mount, I've never liked the way most chargers don't have a connector on the charge lead only power it's not convenient when back packing, there's enough room to mod it and it makes sence when it can be used as a psu to if it had a decent panel mount from factory so strike 1 i suppose lol we see the rest as I peek inside it soon.

But the the size it not much bigger than my old charger few cm longer the pictures make it look big and it's light enough to put on the back and not know its there it's like 2 old 400w hp psu stacked size wise, I need to get a smaller rotary toggle because the actual metal is only small so that aswell needs doing to make it more travel safe but it seems robust all alloy and small screen metal surround don't want to hit it not sealed or a brick in anyway but it's proberly took a knock or two on its way to me no doubt, and the power lead was a 90degree angle one with poor fit bit too tight so I swapped it too my straight fit just mates much nicer easier to push in clean than the 90.

Sorry for bombing your thread too but I like to share my thoughts should have done my own but to late now.
