A friend just dropped this off.

Hello.

Thank you in advance to everyone who reads this and responds with any helpful information or advice.

Okay, I've got a generic Chinese ebike that has rear hub motor drive system. This motor has a clutch/planetary gear setup that transfers the torque from the axle, through the gears, to a gear ring inside the wheel hub's outer casing causing the wheel to turn.

The problem is that I can't find anywhere that sells this part.

Does anyone here know where I might be able to find a reputable parts dealer that may carry the parts I'm looking for?

(To any moderators, if this is the wrong area to post this, please just let me know and I'll remove it and post it in the appropriate forum location.

Thank you all again. :)

Maybe someone will reconize it, but it would help if you knew what brand it is. Usually there is a sticker on the motor housing.
Although you don't actually say what parts you need, I assume there is a problem with the gears or clutch and frankly, the only mini-motors that I know that have parts available are the Bafangs or the Q100's(and maybe MXUS)and that isn't one of those. It looks like an old design.
It's likely you will need to replace it. Mini-motors are available for S150 to $200 shipped. You would need a matching spoke set, so your best bet would be BMS Battery, Elifebike or Greenbikekit.
A new motor would likely be a much better performer.

Measure the diameter of the gears, then we might help.

They look ok, but really thick to me, perhaps it's an optical illusion.
I suspect the clutch is the prob.

I have a similar set up and situation
Still sorting int out
?what did you finally do for a charger?

pictures are not too useful but it does look like your battery is 7 of the prismatic cells with a BMS over on the side at the top.

all of that has get pulled apart out into the open so we can see the connections to know what you are talking. show the fusible link and the other stuff you talked about.

24V lifepo4 is 8s and you have 7S of li ion it appears.
