A Good Buy..?

Hi. After much searching these forums I have made made 2 offers for a 24v 30 ah lifepo4 ..
Both suppliers Volgood and Vpower have both accepted my offer of $250. For a $477. buy now pack?
I hadnt expected either offer 2 be accepted TBH and im now in a bit of a dilema as to who to go with..
I was originally negotiating a deal with mr Lau. But thought best against it after what ive read here..
Then again theres the fair share of horror stories out there for Vpower as far as i can see..
Both packs are just under 10kgs but different dimensions ,Volgoods - 270 x 140 x 140.. Vpower 270 x 270 x 75..
I think i prefer the size of Volgood,s pack for my needs but am more than a bit sceptical as both packs were (make best offer) and I dont want to be sent someone else,s problem returned battery...
Like I say, I didnt expect my offers of nearly $200 less than the Buy it now to be accepted and more than a little curious as to how these costs are being cut?
Im going to hold off a few days and see what feedback I get before jumping in..
Whoever I choose to buy from I will be requesting the higher rated BMS and Charger from the start ,to try and avoid returning a bogus charger.. as many of you have had the pleasure of doing!
May I add .many thanks too Endless Sphere and all you helpfull folks for your wealth of help + knowledge, which I know will get my 1st build on the road soon....

HI: I have 2 48volt 20amp packs that were bought from CAMMY CC but thay are made by vpower,the last pack that came streight from vpower is 5 amphr. short and the charger that came with it has already quit. If i had it to do over I would not get a duct tape pack unless it was from ping. my next pack will be from "EV COMPONENTS.COM" with the headway cells, if i had bought from them to start with it would not have cost me any more,check them out.

Run... stay far far away... a good deal is only a good deal when it works.. ( how much is your being stressed out and frustrated at a dead unit worth to you ? lol )

I've had to tear a few duct tape packs apart to repair and i assure you it's not all that much fun..even to a nut like me.. but ymmv..

I wouldn't recommend anything from ebay at this point. Too many headaches with some sellers. Save yourself some time and frustration and just get a battery from Ping. I wish I had. They're a little more expensive but much better quality. He also answers emails pretty fast

you get for you paid for...

when you pay 200€ for a 24V 30Ah batterypack, dont expect the performance of the A123s or the konions...

wake up and keep it realistic...

when you buy chinese shit, you get chinese shit...

If you're a battery n00b, stay far far away. I can practically guarantee you'll have problems with your battery and you'll become extremely frustrated, assuming you'll receive a battery. When it comes to eBay, almost all duct tape packs besides Ping have been awful. CammyCC seems to be so so.

Thanks for all your posts on my battery issue. I cant believe I was actually considering either packs from what I,ve read.
Checked out Ypedal,s lobotomy of the cammy pack and dont fancy that kind of surgery TBH..!!
I think im going to go with the Headway 10ah packs from EVcomponents as I can get 24v30ah for the same price roughly..plus the BMS + charger..
Just need too come up with a good excuse for not following through my bid for these chinese packs??
Maybe il attach a link to Ypedals lobotomy thread and show them the facts..
