Hello

Earlier this month a friend gave me his A2B Metro for free and I love it. Unfortunately the built-in battery in the frame hardly keeps a charge long enough (<15miles), or is able to power the motor on inclines.

What is the best option to replace the standard battery? Or should I consider replacing the entire innards (controller, battery, hub-motor)?

I am rather new to all of this, so please excuse my ignorance

Cheers
Jan

depending on what exactly you want out of the system, there's a number of threads about doing different mods and fixes to these bikes, if they're useful:

these are the battery-specific ones:

if those are not helpful, let us know so we can ask you questions to guide us in giving more specific information. :)

Thanks very much for responding. I'll sift through the threads and see if I can find replacement battery model numbers

I found this on Amazon and wonder if these are indeed the right batteries for a Metro
