Hello Guys (from Southland, New Zealand)
My first post after a bit of lurking, so by all means box my ears if I haven't done enough homework but . . . .
I'm a fencing contactor, and I'm looking to build an remote controlled off-road EV that will carry my tools (about 75 kgs) and sometimes materials (up to 250 kgs) up and down the fence lines I'm building. Slow but steady (lots of torque!) will define this machine with 10Km/h being a top speed, 5 Km/h more usual and a range of 5-8 Km per day.
The newly announced Honda 3E-D18 is a very sophisticated idea of an EV that might do the job ( video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrfaBrL007I ) and a simpler one is the ATI E-Transporter (Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uir_BSfcRag )
However I'd like to see a lot more similar machines before I start to plan something for my purposes - so if you can think of similar EV,s or have thoughts on them I'd love to be pointed to relevant links or information.
Thanks
Foster
