I hate them. Everytime I unplug one I'm like, "Do I pain my finger nails trying to dig it out the right way, or do I pull on the wires and risk pulling them out of the contacts?"

And crimping them isn't fun either.

On the other hand, the mxp connectors are a breeze. I can solder up a set of halls in minutes, and I can be positive that they'll never fail.

Are there any solder only jst-xh compatible connectors?
 
I bought some of these. But a bit pricy if you have tons of packs. But easier than replacing connectors.

I couldn't agree more. I can't stand those damn things.

very nice dogman, I've never seen those AB clips. a great solution as you don't have to replace the connectors. :mrgreen:

I was using these 7-pin connectors from a local electronics store. they are really nice, but they are expensive and there is much soldering involved. I may now switch to those AB clips.
