Well, it certainly looks like a muscle car, and with a pair of PM150DZ controllers it'd go like a shower of shit too

Not really sure what the other leads out to the sides are doing, but hey...

Wonderful car, great spec and nice to see the 30 minute fast charge capability. However, I think the first thing a non-EV enthusiast will pick up on is 500HP but only 120mph. People know it doesn't take anything like that much power to do that speed (about 100HP by my reckoning) and possibly conclude the figures (and the performance of EV's) are misleading. At best it's incongruous.

Lets hope that's a misprint. Any car that looks like that and only does 120mph is broken, or built for posers by posers. 180mph sounds more reasonable. Even the embarrassing Shelby Omni GLH was capable of 130mph
Not a misprint.
It is the result of the determination of most EV constructors (EG. Tesla ). to avoid using a multi speed transmission and focus on low speed performance (acceleration , etc) rather than high speed capability.
Current EV drive motors have a limited rpm and power range which restricts the top speed with a single speed tranny.
It's a realistic approach, as few owners ever need the higher speeds , whilst every owner has to use the 0- 60 range daily.
A multispeed transmission would add complexity , weight, and cost to give the higher speeds, but would not bring the fuel economy that it would for an ICE powered car.

Somebody wanting more speed can regear it anyway. If they are buying it, they can afford another set of gears too.

Dead sexy, thats a car I would drive!
