Anyone running mac motor over 60v without failure?

Just wondering if the mac will be ok to run at around 66v max charge. I want to get more speed out of an upgrade 12t mac and run it at 25a max draw, so around 1600w.
What will be the weak points at the above voltage?

That still sounds reasonable. It seems to me that the trouble really starts more like 2000w. Might want to feather the throttle on take off though, if it seems to jerk too much. That would depend on controller programming, so if it seems to still take off smooth, no worries.

Yeah, i have been doing a mock run(so to speak) with my bafang bpm 216rpm. 26" wheel and a lyen 6fet controller set at 25a and it seems ok so far. The motor will pull the 25 amp limit on take off but it quickly drops to 15 and less. Only seeing around 22 amp on steep hills. My CA shows peaks of around 1500w on around 63v.
The controller gets very warm after putting the motor through steep hills but not so hot that you cannot comfortabaly hold it in your hand. The motor too is warmish.

At present, the phase amps are set at 60 - where i think they will stay. Could i put more phase amps through a mac?

I have the same problem on my bpm the take off is jerky but not always..No idea as too why

If I twist the throttle too fast on mine it is very jerky also. I have to do slow throttle movements.

Mac 6 t on 650b wheel, 48 volt pack, 12 fet infineon Controller, C.A. set to 19 amp max amp draw.

If I try and use it like a motorcycle, it is Jerky . I also am wondering what is causing this ?

By a jerky take off, I didn't mean any kind of stutter. I just meant if it has enough power, it can whip your head back, taking off so fast.

Slam hard enough each start, and it does get tough on the clutch and gears. The controller programming can help this, or make it worse.

Not a huge issue, until you are running in the 1500w or more ballpark from what I have heard. That would be 30 amps. If you feel it's too abrupt, you can just roll the throttle back halfway, till you are actually moving.

Ahh thanks for clearing that up, mine does the weird stuttering thing if im too gentle with the throttle, i just like with it or get going then hit the throttle
