Based of the photo it is very similar to a Cromotor or a QS205, just the cable outlet is on the flat side of the axle and the cable insulation is different.

too bad the russians do not cooperate in providing surface freight from china to europe or you could ship from shenzen to oslo for $40. cromotor is a known hub, this is a great unknown.

Hello,

I'm pretty new to this.
Well anyways I wanted to share my experiences as I read this.
I bought the Set ( http://de.aliexpress.com/store/product/70-120kph-speed-programmed-controller-5000w-electric-bike-conversion-kit-ebike-motor-kit-5000w-electric-bike/637802_1873473464.html?storeId=637802 ). It arrived today and the first thing I did is that I went to my local bikestore to check the spokes and get a proper tire.. Well the spokes did not seem to bee done quiet professional. Some of them were loose or some nipples were messed up. I would definitly not say that the geometrics are correct.
Due to this I couldn't actually test the motor yet, but the motor seems alright.
I also am pretty excited if the 4kW controller they put in the set will be able to handle the "5kW" (they're also selling the same motor in the 3kW combo) motor.

Greetings

I was looking at this motor also, I think my Cromotor V2 has an efficiency of 87% so it isn't that far off. I think the Cromotor V3 has improved the efficiency to 91% though. I'm interested in knowing your opinion of the motor/controller combo when you get a chance to test it.

It's amazing how unsubstantiated rumors spread on ES. Get the few simple measurements required for Miles Motor Comparison spreadsheet and we can find out for sure what it's potential peak efficiency really is.
