Well volts can help an amp/ hour meter is better. To see how much you have taken out of the battery.
Sorry about that sentence almost any throttle will work .

For 11 bucks we can get a throttle, voltmeter, and o/off switch. Sweet!

It appears that on the left handlebar the throttle rotation may be correct for safety.

Yes I had a guy telling my handle were full. I will like to see people's handle bar Arrangements. I know one thing you don't want to hang jewelry a 12 pack or a bowling ball on the handlebars makes for hard maneuvering. So off and on switch easy to get to, a throttle , 3 speed switch, a CA and some lights if horn button horn. Or cute bike Bell as it doesn't annoy anyone as they think your an ice cream truck.

That throttle is awesome! <will upload pics of my current bars>

In the meantime, this is a 2wd thumb throttle I added a voltmeter and switches (hopefully) for 2wd. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=89091
I really like you can get a throttle with one already on though! And some even have keyswitches!!!

I bought one of those Stu, thanks. Also found 2x 18fet controllers for 60 shipped, worth the wait as well I'm guessing. Will be trying on 2wd build.

From right, 'lock on' grip (trimmed), twist throttle (trimmed), rear brake (hydro), thumb shifter (7spd), 3spd switch.

Left side just has brake and grip on the bar, but underneath is my headlight and volt/amp meter.

Potted the meter in a piece of tupperware, and potted bike ignition and headlight switch in back of headlight.

Awesome AWESOME find on those throttles Stu. I will probably put one on my middrive and keep one or two spares for doing builds for sale. Excellent product with the keyswitch, for now I am using it on the 2wd build. The led is a little dim in the day, but that also means it's not overwhelming at night.

I picked up a handful of 3 speed switches as well (for like 2$ /pc), and some micro on/off rocker switches. It turns out you can pop out the 3spd switch and 2x of the micro switches fit right in with NO MODS hehehe. Gotta love when a plan comes together.

I'm using the 2x on/off to select controller on/off (for FWD RWD and 2WD) after the key has been switched on. Throttles and 3spd switches are tied together from each controller, all six wires. Someday might split the controllers to separate 3spd switches.
