Hello everyone, after riding a friends bike with a bbs02 unit I am sold on the ebike revolution and planning on a build of my own. I have been doing a lot of research and I am after any advice or useful information in regards to the build (thank you in advance).
Background/Use: I live in Melbourne Australia, weight 85kg and will be using the bike for to work commute, errands and weekend rides. Melbourne is mostly flat terrain and after a 40-50km range. Will be trying to support local dealers, bikes companies and bike shops. My budget for build will be about 4000 aus$.
Kit: I will be using the BBSHD mid drive kit and the only local dealers are as follows.

http://dillengerelectricbikes.com.au/
http://luna-mate.com/
Has anyone dealt with any of these outlets? Luna seems to have the best deal at the moment BBSHD unit, 52v14ah battery, color display and program cable and spaces. 1800 delivered.
Bike: after a lot of looking around I have come down to these two options
Avanti Inc 2 $1499(specs in link)
https://www.avantiplus.com.au/products/av230a613/title/avanti-inc-2
Pros-
its black
alfine 8 igh
Cons-
Disk brakes
Gates carbon belt drive does not have center track tech (CDX)
Avanti Inc 3 $1999
https://www.avantiplus.com.au/products/av230a614/title/avanti-inc-3
Pros-
Hydraulic brakes
Gates carbon belt drive CDX
Cons-
Color will make kit stand out (going for stealth)
Mounting e brake senors on levers
alfine 11 igh
My inspiration for bike was seeing a post with the spot brand acme build

Issues I can foresee are as follows:
Gates Carbon drive – I will be using the California Ebike BBSHD chain ring adapter which will fit the 130mm BCD chain ring. With a spacer kit im pretty sure I will be able to get the chain line within the 3 mm tolerance. My only question is the difference between the two different drives? On the Inc.3 it is equipped with the CDX, on the Inc.2 has the normal belt drive, either it will work or will need to pay and upgrade to CDX
Internal Gear Hub – I will be installing a gear senor (will it help?) to prolong life of the hubs but which is best, have read afline 8 is more reliable and that with a BBSHD you wont really need much gear range. Just not sure which to go for.
Brakes – I consider hydraulic brakes a must. High speed, cars, people. No brainer.
If I go the Inc 2 will need to upgrade. Two brake systems with e cut off are available, the tektro hd-e710 http://www.tektro.com/_english/01_products/01_prodetail.php?pid=155&sortname=E-Bike&sort=2&fid=2
Or the TRP Zurich http://emax-ebikes.com.au/product/trp-zurich-high-performance-quad-piston-hydraulic-disc-brake/
Not sure which one to go for.
The Avanti Inc 3 has Shimano M446 system but mounting sensors might be an issue. Wondering are these brakes good enough for the job or increasing the disk size from 160mm to 180mm with hardwearing brake pads will improve stopping power.
And last question do kits come with the tool to secure the two main bolts of the mid drive, or is it easily available at bike stores or something I need to purchase.
Here are some pics of the bike
