Bafang 750w motor 48v motor help

I was riding about a mile into my journey when the pedal assist just quit. I could not get it to come back on so I had to pedal back under my own power. Any ideas of what happened, did the display go bad, or did the motor quit ?

Is it under warranty; can you return it?

Could be something going on with the motor’s PCB. I surely hope not but it could be a short. Has the motor been under any overwhelming conditions (excess water, shock, etc)

Check the sensor and the connectors. Check the speed sensor line for damage.
