Hi all,

Are there any Bafang compatible HMI's that can log a ride as well, either on the unit, or via a phone app, and then integrate the ride into Strava like a Garmin Edge?.

Thanks.

What specific data are you trying to collect?

If it's just position, speed, terrain changes, etc., the phone can do all that by itself with the built in accelerometer(s) and GPS.

If you need data on the system performance, which specific data?

Bafang wheel setting is not precise so speed and distance are not precise.
I would be nice to have cadence and heart rate on one display too.
As a work around I occasionally use a Garmin Venu watch with wheel and cadence sensors.
Garmin wireless wheel sensor can be calibrated to the mm.
GPS has the most variance in distance measurement compared to Garmin or Bafang sensors.
I bought the Garmin watch during covid because of the built in O2 sensor.
Note though, when compared to the doctor's calibrated version my Garmin O2 sensor consistently reads 2 point lower.

Not really after anything specific, more so a replacement so I don't have to use my Magellan Cyclo from my road bike. Would be nice if there was a display where you could start/stop a ride, and have that info import into Strava. Even if it used a phone app to do this, but controlled from the HMI I think would be great.
