I have a new bafang 48v 30ah controller from bafang, new throttle, new wiring harness, new dcp 18 display and after going around the block a few times, the display shows error code 4 and the throttle ceases to work. I put new magnetic brake cutouts on as well with new cabling. I changed the throttle 3 times with the same problem. I performed a controller calibration using the BESSt Tool. Is it possible the start and end throttle voltage is incorrect? i have spent countless hours on whatsapp with bafang support and they are totally useless when it comes to itemized instructions, however i did get throught the calibration routine using their special calibration display. The controller i have now is actually the 2nd one they sent me and it exhibiting this error code 4 issue. Should I load a new firmware using the besst tool i have? Can i change the throttle start and end voltages? I have run out of ideas and am almost ready to change this bafang ultra mid drive to a rear hub motor. I should add that the ebike is about 5 years old with all new parts listed above.
