so many people ask about building a new bike or part of it...unfortunately the info is very scattered and hard to find and collate....why not put together an organaized section specificly for BASIC BIKE BUILDING....give it different topics ie bike choice ..battery selection..motor types..what is a DD motor,a gered motor ect....pros and cons...controllers ect ..with basic explanations and comparisons of how different components are used...a section like this would make it much easier for newbies to find info ans understand bike building...diagrams,pictures and specs would be needed.. an.advanced index for new designs and experiment would be very interesting... a section like this would be usefull and save a LOT of repetitive queries
this site is meant to help and encourage people to b uild their own ebiks...MAKE IT SO!...even for someone familiar with the site it is often very time consuming and difficult to find info... consider the newbie,who, in many cases doesn't even know what to look for... I wopuld bet that there have been many people come to this site ,get totally frustrated and just go away....LETS PROVIDE THE HELP AND ENCOURAGEMENT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR ....a summary of basic information to help people get started
