BBSHD - changing current limit does nothing

Hi everyone,

I’m having long time issue with my BBSHD. No matter what settings I use in Bafang programming tool (Luna cycle programming tool and Open Bafang Tool), level 4 and above keeps pulling around 800W instantly when I start to pedal, without ramping. No matter what number I put in current limits in levels 4 and above, it keeps doing the same. Level 0 - 3 are working perfectly fine when changing current limits. I have tried factory settings, tried different PAS levels in display settings, 3, 5, 9 and user defined. If use 9 level setting, every single level from 0 - 5 pulls 25 watts. Level 6 is around 150 W, 7 - 300W etc. It was working fine before, but I dont understand what suddenly happend, it’s super annoying. Thanks for your help

That’s pretty strange. I haven’t seen that problem before. I would suggest re-flashing the firmware. There are several topics about that. Beyond that you may need a new controller board.
