Hello. Im using ebike with no suspension. Rear hub motor 1000w seound 10kg, frame mounted battery 7kg , and the rest of weight, so total combined bike weight around 30kg plus me 80 kg appx. I wanna buy schwalbe marathon plus, but it says its only rated to 65 kg. Considering almost 70% of weight is stationed in the rear, im concerned that tyre will not fit my needs because i think it exceeds maximum weight limit. I wanna buy it for city. How can i check that ? Please put it in comments, should i buy another version of the same tyre or ?

I now only use Marathon plus on my MTB. (1500w rear hub, running at 4kw). Tyres are 26 x 2.00 and I run them at 5bar.
Battery box is over back wheel and I weigh 127kg. (So me, wheel and batteries, probably 150kg).
Never had a problem and I run up to 60kph (Full battery). 24km 5 days a week to work in all weathers, all year.
I have tried many, many other tyre makes, some of which I have destroyed in a week. Some cheaper, some more expensive, than Marathon Plus.
I have averaged 10k km per year. The rear tyre I wore out at about 20k and while it was low on tread it still performed well.
My original reason for changing to Marathons was the amount of punctures I kept getting.
The bonus was a long life tyre with good grip, virtually no noise and long life and an end to punctures.
Hope this helps.

Can you please show exact model ? Please translate this to english so i can see. One is 65kg , other i dont know so that is a concern https://ciklo-centar.hr/pretraga?pojam=Schwalbe+marathon+plus

Says only 65 kg https://ciklo-centar.hr/artikl/schwalbe-marathon-plus-26x2-00-vanjska-guma-za-bicikl

I suggest you check Schwalbe actual site.

You can see the details there.

Marathon Plus is a good durable tire, but it’s not the only game in town (and it’s not flatproof either). Pretty much any tire of the same size with a “plus” designation is of similar puncture resistance. Continental Contact Plus, Panaracer Tour Plus, and Kenda Kwick Drumlin are equally robust tires that usually cost less and run straighter on the rim.
