I've seen some y-shaped looking full suspension (fs) mountain bike frames. So, have any of you found similar fs bikes w/ large oval or boxy shaped frame tubes that have enough space to fit some batteries in the frame "tubes" while still being able to handle fun trail riding? It seems like it would eliminate the need for extra battery compartments and still maintain the sleek look of the bike. (yes, i'm aware of phasor, but it's outa my budget):D

The arrows outline space for batteries within the frame that I had in mind:

Frame tubing is never big enough to fit batteries in, and even if it would, it would be PITA to manage access without weakening the frame structure. You are talking custom frame here, and that is a lot of investment in time and money to do it right.

Best one I've seen is the Greyborg. It's not big tube, but the basic Y frame design is done in small tubes, leaving lots of open space in the Y.

If you are giving up pedaling, as many do, saddle bag style boxes on the sides of the frame work fine.

I also like the original EV Global frames battery space. Not a FS though.
