Hi,
I built a few Li-ion packs years ago using Samsung 35E cells. They still work well, but I'm a bit concerned about the risk of thermal runaway - as they get older and because when I built them I wasn't fully aware of how important it is to handle Li-ion cells with utmost care.
So I'm planning to build new packs using LiFePO4 for increased safety. I'm impressed by how LiFePO4 cells have progressed since I built my packs (back in 2019), and it's now realistic to build LFP packs with the right form factors and weight.
I have 2 questions :
--> Which LiFePO4 cell manufacturers play in the same league as Samsung, Panasonic, and LG for Li-ion ?
--> By the way, what good BMS would you advise ? I used Daly ones for my Li-ion packs.
