Just a heads up. I bought 4 Velogear self sealing tubes. All four are faulty, the valve stems dont seal, they just slow leak.

I am only telling you because these are the only faulty tubes I have ever seen in 50 years. The valve does not seal.

I complained, and Velogear wants a photo of the leaking valve. Ive asked how do I film air?

So I asked VELOGEAR.COM how do I photograph air and some "thing" replied, and I quote.. "you do not accept plocy for return, case closed".

Dont deal with these people/

I would have put it under water and shown the bubbles coming out. Well, if you're stuck with them, put in new valve stems. Maybe they will work.

Sealant screws up valves. Now you know. There are reasons sealant isn't in every tire. If there weren't downsides, it would be in every tire.

Maybe it depends on the valve. For my first tubeless setup I went with these big open tube valves with an external dial to open and close:

Haven't seen the sealant do them harm yet. 🫰I think other than that, a lot of people running tubeless keep extra valve cores around.

For me velogear.com brings up a GoDaddy "Buy Now velogear.com is for sale!"
